In class we have been using Padlet. Padlet is a free, online bulletin board that can be used to display a variety of information. Students' have been trialling it this term and we will be using it a lot more as the year progresses. Here are a couple of Padlets that have already been created.

Creating catapults
Room 11 have been learning about Ancient Civilisations in History. We learnt about Mesopotamia and how they were considered to be the cradle of civilisation in the West. Students worked in groups as a society within Mesopotamia. These included Iraq, Israel, Syria and Lebanon.
Each group created laws, traded with other societies and worked towards creating warfare (the catapult). When the catapults were finished we headed outside and had a competition to see who could catapult a marshmallow the furtherest :-)
The students enthusiastic, engaged and enjoyed the session. All in all it was a very successful day.
